Here are pics from various forays all west of but near Ptown. No ID's requested but I'll number them as any stabs at gross ID would be welcome. There are many but once I got started I figured what the hell.

Stop experimenting half way through your first grow. Grow it to maturity, watch it, learn from it. Do this a few times then experiment with different ideas and figure out what works best for you.

8) Mycena
9) Amanita muscaria
10) Tubaria
11) Armillaria
12) Amanita muscaria
13) Pleurotus
14) Armillaria
15) Lycoperdon perlatum
16) Gomphidius oregonensis
17) Marasmius or an omphalinoid species
18) Cortinarius
19) Fomitopsis pinicola
20) Rhodocollybia or Gymnopus
21) Armillaria
22) Marasmius plicatulus

You must not be looking under pine, douglas fir won't do it. Check in the same places that you find B. edulis.

Number 11 looks more like gyms to me than armillaria. They've got the furry caps, and they are pretty robust.
