Well its just a little program that runs while your computer is on, it uses the processor time that your not using with your other programs, you can adjust it from maximum processor use 10% all the way to 100%, I'm using it at 100% and I have no problem surfing/using other programs. It helps process information for AIDS, cancer cures, weather data, etc.
