Mycelenium Cakes Fuffy cotton looking??

Hey i have 4 cakes in the terrarium, 2 look normal (white cakes) 2 have this very fluffy almost cotton looking mycelenium covering the entire cake. its that okay or is that a kinda contam?

thats fine, nothing to worry about. Im a newbie so i cant tell you what the cake is actually doing. But my Pes hawaiian cakes did this right before pins started to appear

the cake is in it's last attempt to search for food. Extending all of it's little feelers out, looking to make sure there's nothing to eat. It should pin soon.

If it looks like little hairs or a spider web growing off the cake then its cob web. But if its thick and spongy then its just mycelium that is about to fruit/has fruited.

the 2 cakes that look like cakes covered by cotton balls, have been looking like that for 3 days, no pins, but on one of them under the cotton looking substance its a lil orange, also on one of them at the base, its a lil cobweb looking, like its reaching out in the verm for some food. does anyone have pics of cakes that look like this so i know if its good or bad? thanks

thats what mine is doing its been doing it for 6 days finally its starting to pin but bearly. it should be fine just leave it alone untill it starts pinning or somthing.

The fuzz could be due to high humidity, or if it was that way when it was colonising and not rhizomorphic, its probably a tomentose isolate.

ok...... now..... one of the 2 fluffy cakes is turning light peach and the other is turning a darkish orange, slowly...... is this bad? no signs of pinnin anywhere on them
