O.K. I researched changing the dates to "all dates" and searching in "all forums" sorry I'm a jackass and haven't fully harnessed the power of the search. But thanks for jumping on my case! However the questions still stand: how can you tell when a mushie has aborted as my myco bags are really getting into full swing in the fruiting process I'm worried about not catching an abort. Also what harm can they cause if they are left unpicked?

No info eh? Weird....
You will be able to tell an abort when you see it, trust me. They will develop black caps and wont mature. Aborts are common, dont worry about them.

Not possible. I just tried the search using the word "abort" and there were many posts on just this topic. You'll probably find even more using the incorrect spelling "ahbort" as many people have poor spelling skills.

Try it both ways in the search. Both work it seems. So there are two ways to spell it wrong. 
Your way does seem to be the most common incorrect spelling.
