Guitars?

Well I used to build a lot of instruments for a company called Gold Tone Banjo Co. that was based in FL. Thats when I picked up slide guitar playing, we had a signature model designed by Paul Weissenborn I think thats how you spell it. But I used to put hundreds of these together a week and they are simply great guitars, designed by one of the best slide guitar players ever, made by a very good company.

The Lap Steels sound alright but I can tell you from experience assembling them, the electronics are shit. I'd go for a SM Weissenborn.

They ship internationally also, very quick and reliable people. The Weissenborns come with a warranty and a case I believe.

well i'd recommend some pre-war blues artists, like blind willie mctell and leadbelly. been listening to a lot of that stuff, it's great. there's a lot more i'd list but they don't always have slide guitar.
