    #5396037 -

Any classical gutiar players here?
next semester im taking a classical guitar class, and guitar center is havin their march sale thingy. so i thought id buy a cheap classical guitar for 100 bucks (Lucero LC100).

i wanted to ask what the main differences are between classical and regular? and what are some good begineer pieces to try n learn?

You can pick out some easy pieces on that site. Id recommend trying to learn Moonlight Sonata if you have some guitar experience beforehand. I prefer playing in a classical style, as I think its much more fun when one is by themselves, and I just think it sounds better.

hmm, the link doesnt work, but when i google i think it takes me to the site you mentioned. and i found www.wussu.com which looks exactly the same, hehe. ill check it out for sure

and that moonlight sonata, is that the one by Beethoven?

yea i do have some guitar experience, so im not too afraid of any harder pieces. i just want something that sounds classical and smooth.

thanx guys!

(ps, are there any tips i might need going from electric guitar to classical? i noticed i cant bend... lol)

Yea its the one by Beethoven. Sure you can bend notes if you think it sounds good. Classical guitar ishonestly mostly about expression. Much more so then an electric, so the way you play is important. Like hodling notes, or tempo, or accenting notes.
