I think the whole abort thing is generally misunderstood, how I understand it to be is that an abort is just as potent as a full grown shroom would be by its weight. Meaning: a hypothetical abort that weighs 1 gram dry would be just as a potent as a mature shroom that weighed 1 gram dry. Correct me if i am wrong.

I'm adamant in my belief that 1 large shroom has less portency than several smaller ones equalling the same weight.Towards the end of its life cycle,it is bulking up,and building gill tissue,spores,etc....

I'd just like to add something here that is nothing to do with the question really...

When Gordon Wasson met the Mazatec shaman woman Maria Sabina, he partook in one (or a few) of her ceremonies. She told him that the sacred fungus should always be eaten in pairs. This is the way I always do it .

Ive eaten 3.5 grams of almost all aborts and i have to say that was much much more intense trip then 3.5 grams of viels just broken mushrooms.
