Dude, I really can't understand the problems people have with eating shrooms. Sure they taste like shit, but the whole ordeal lasts seconds. Just be a man and eat that shit. If you think its bad try eating peyote, then try and keep that shit down!

that said try making a smoothy or some other concoction to hide the taste
be creative

I can bear the nasty taste considering the reward i will get for eating them, but i usually eat my with other food....peanut butter and shroom sandwhiches aren't bad at all :grin:

They are an aquired taste... :smile:

I find the best way to cover the taste of them is with the blender.  Blend them with a cup of OJ or luke warm tea.  Add a little sugar, hold your nose, and drink fast.  Remember, the more juice you use, the more you have to drink... I use somewhere between 1/2 and 1 cup.  Have a cup of water handy to chase the taste down.  Finally, as you are shivering over the nasty sludge that you just chugged, try to convince yourself that it isn't too bad... with time you will be chewing them plain like a champ!

I've heard this or a similar method discussed here before:

Dry them; powder the dried material; calculate how many doses the material will yield; mix thoroughly and evenly in a small amount of honey; put in fridge until ready to use.

My guess is the consistency is bothering you more than the taste. Dry them out and you will probably have an easier time.

Good idea...... dry them, then grind up - dude you should try the tea-method, that way you don't even have to consume any solid mushroom

You hate tea, you hate shrooms, damn man, this whole tripping thing is gonna be tough for you.  :wink:  I still almost gag everytime I drink my OJ+Apple Juice+Shroom smoothie, but I know that in a little while, it will all be better.

I don't like tea either man, but its the easiest way to get the shrooms down, in my opinion. I end up putting ice in it right afterwards and just smal the whole thing within like 45 seconds.

Then about 10-15 minutes after that........ wow I better be laying down ;-)
