equador - mexico - cambodian

hallo,
i have the problem that i ordered 3 growkits and got them without labels for the different sorts. now my questions:

1. how can i find out which sort is the equador one, wihich is the mexican one and which is the equadorian one? they look very similar (1 sort just opened their heads, 1 is just coming up with it and 1 is still in the beginning of the growing). is it right that the cambodians do grow fastest?

2. what about the strength of the different sorts? mexican is the weakest - but the rest?

Look in the hunting section and search for Mexican, Cambodian, and Ecuadorian. Then take those pics of shrooms and compare them to your's. Presto chango, you have identified shrooms.

It's all the same species of mushroom so it will be hard to tell them apart. I'd go to ralphsters, or sporeworks and just compare your fungus to the ones being advertised.

i checked the sides.. unfortunately u are right: they look very similar.. the equadors seem 2 have some sprancels on top of the head - right? the cambodians seem 2 b the fastest in growing.. so is there any other possibility for discrimination?

Possibly the color of the cap, strains sometimes have different shades. It's all just speculation though since a multi spore inoculation can produce variable mushroom characteristics.

You can't ID strains of a species by looking. It's all just names anyway. Eat them all.

well, ok so the eating test.. for that i can differ after the eating test: i read that mexicans are the weakest (0,5-1,5 gramm low kick, 1,5-2,5 gramm medium, 2,5-5 high, more than 5 psychonaut), cambodian are stronger (how much is high in that case?) and equador are also stronger than mexicans (also stronger than cambodian?) and 1,4 gramm of eq equals 1 trip of lsd.. is all this right?

Hey there puppeteer - I think what we're trying to tell you is that the strength of most Cubensis is fairly equal - they will mess you up regardless of strain. The potency mostly is dependant on how you grow them.

and they absolutely look no different, they are psilocybe cubensis.

the strain isn't even real. it's just a vendor hype.

They do look similar, but not exactly alike.

But the differences sometimes arnt enough to be able to distinquish them.

If you have a microscope you could look at the spores and posibly id them.
