2nd grow Ecuadorian, or Elephant Dung?

Alright, I'm planing on my second grow and am trying to decide which strain I should get. I was planing on Ecuadorian but now I'm looking at Elephant dung. Which would you guys recommend? I want to get a great flush with as many shrooms possible, and would also like the fruits to be as big as possible. However the size of the flush is more important to me then the size of the fruits. I would also like the strain to be really potent if there is a big difference in strain. I have already read the strain guide however I just wanted to hear what you guys have to say about it. Also would inoculating them in 1 quart rye jars be a good substrate for them? Thank you for reading.

Sometimes we really look for too much  :gangsta:
I would advice to you to just try in making a good and
beautiful cultivation, where mushroom will NATURALLY
come up in that way.
When you want too much one thing, hardly it will come to
you...

Anyway times ago I cultivated Equadorian strain, if I remember
right it was on BRF-cakes then cased on a 50/50 verm and
coco coir layer. They were huge! It's a pity I cannot find
anymore the pictures of that batch. Seems to me that came
out from the first flush of a single casing 15cm x 10cm and
deep 4/5 cm like a 150 grams of Holy Mushies... :laugh:

All the Psylocibe Cubensis are almost the same potency,
what changes and affect the content of psylocibin (I think)
is just the type of substrate you're working on...
...So 1 quart rye jars are more than good!

Now I don't know about the second strain you're talking about
(Elephant Dung_ didn't know there was such a strain!), but
you could really look for the Mexican Dutch King strain,
checking at www.magicmushroom.org

One time we cultivated also those mushroom and... geez! :sunny:
There were 20 cm tall fungus all over the brick!!

kk, lol, I new you were gonna say Texas, I'm really thinking about that. If I do not do that this time it will be my next. Is South American easy to cultivate as well? Bluntjagger tell me more about this Texas strain you speak so highly of, because now I'm thinking fuck it, maybe I should just go now and the rest later.

Hey euphoric! i've been using GT recently and thats been goin great! i've seen lots of the pros like agar reccomend SA though! I wanna try that out myself some day! also Texas has gotta be good if blut reccomends it :wink:

A ha ha why does everyone think my name is BluNtjagger,I don't even smoke weed and I haven't in about a decade :lol: .Anywho, I may just have a soft spot for Texas because it was the 1st strain to come through for me and beat all my contamination issues in the beginning,Its just a great growing and great feeling mushroom,It seems to "want" to grow without even paying all that much attention to it,It will pin in the jars if you leave it alone and forget about it for a while,the fruits I have gotten when I spawn it to bulk are always abundant and some of them are massive,just like the description says of them they don't even shrink that much when they dry,they do lose weight but not that much size.I love the trip from them as well,I know you were talking about growing Ecuador as well,Texas feels allot better than them,as a matter of fact I have only eaten the Ecuador's I have grown twice and gave the rest of them away because I didn't like them,I would just sum it up by saying the Texas make you happy and feel like everything is good with the world,just a easy relaxed and fun mellow trip with out a giant mind fuck or any anxiety,the kind of trip that you can just lie on the couch and play with your girlfriend for hours  :hehehe: good stuff....O and for the record jager has nothing to to with jagermiester,I don't drink either :nono:

hahaaa, lol, yeah I always thought it was blunt, but now I know better. Yeah Texas sounds really good, and I hate when the shrooms shrink like crazy small, and love when there bigger. Do you get good vishuals on the Texas? I ushualy eat a 4th at least. Yeha my first grow was with 7 different strains and I messed up with keeping them in order but most of them shrunk a lot when dried but another casing of a different strain barley shrunk which I think was Hawian?

TX was my first grow and I do love those mushies. I did all the wrong things in 2 casings and the damn things still grew. One of my casings is on it's 4th flush and trust me I neglected this thing like crazy and still got a decent pinset. TX are easy and the trip is great. I don't have any experience in any other strains yet. I am currently working w/ Hillbilly strain and B+. I am just waiting for colonization.

about eq like MEX said i have 1 10;bs casings and here are my harvest weights

casing C
wet      84.7 + 840.2 + 196.8 + 350

that first is a pre-harvest the night before the big one.  its about to start pinning again in a day or two. (also that 196.8 is also a pre-harvest so only 2 fulshes so far :smile: ) roll in shrooms now man and dont have weights of my B casings also EQ.

well they are huge too
got 2-3 over 12 inches tall well try and find pics but got to go see is my spwan bags are here.

Your welcome,and yes you will get good visuals of of a quarter,I usually eat that much as well and I have starred at the bathroom tile for an hr....well I thought it was an hr,it was really like 7 or 8 min  :rofl:
