Saliva Drug Test

i got a pre-employment drug test and my saliva was sent to Quest Diagnostics. i smoked weed the day before and everyday the two weeks before that day.

this is the oral testing information on their web page...

it says that the Detection Window for Oral Fluid for THC is Less than 24 hours.

does this mean that ill pass the test?

You'll pass the test if it's been 24 hours since you've smoked. :shrug:

It isn't like urine tests where regular use makes a difference; it's all about the last time you've smoked.

what if i call the testing company?  do you guys think that they'll tell me if i passed or not even though i didn't pay for the test?

i just found out that im going to get laid off in a couple of weeks...:sad:

Eh depends on the grade of the pot, and how much you smoked lol. I got some buds that smoke prior to their saliva test as you did and still pass. Dont get me wrong proly a bad idea but, they pull it off.

Ycan can put peroxide in your mouth before the test to help to.:rolleyes:

i smoked on high quality shake every evening up until the day before the test.  i brushed my teeth and used some Listerine mouth wash.

i think they guy said that if i did fail, that i would get a call in 1 to 2 weeks.  the test was taken about a week and a half ago.

i guess i should probley just call the place and find out...since im probley going to anyways.  i just wanted to know if it sounds like a bad idea.

I passed one once after smoking everyday for... I dunno a few years straight about every day.
Drove to the job w/ mouthwash in my mouth, and took it, and only half the bars filled and they told me "well some of them are broken but its ok"
so.. I dunno if I passed or they just dont care

same they where doing road side saliva tests on the way into the nimbin mardigrass i smoked about 5 hours before and past

i have a friend that smoked on the way to work and passed one of those tests. Might not have been the same saliva test, but my friend wouldn't lie about it, and he has witnesses that backed him up.

Just saying, those tests are not the most expensive, and you should be ok.

Edit: nevermind, moon_glue just owned me. pay no attention to what is said above.

the saliva test costs 300$

it is very accurate but only goes back about a week.

yeah, i dont know. lol.

im just thinking, since it's been almost 3 weeks, they should have called me and told me that i failed. it wouldn't make since to call me right before im suppose to show up and say "sorry, you failed your drug test, we cant hire you".

i asked my current boss today "if they call me and say that i failed my drug test, can i just come in on monday at the normal time"...he laughed and said "yeah, and if they dont call just come in on saturday". im still going to work weekends there for some extra cash and because i was fired before and they hired me back. i figure i should at least work the weekends(when no one wants to work) just out of respect for hiring me back. i told him that when i got hired too.
