Personally have seen them in throughout Northern New South Wales and Coast, Southern Queensland, Gold Coast and its Hinterlands. Are these areas near you? In genreal of course These seem to be more common than cubensis (Gold Tops) to me. How about you? Do you get more goldies or meanies? Approx which areas?

well, im in east van and ive been looking good and hard for these last 3 days of rain. i found a lot of LBMs on new lawns, solid, firm, off-white stipes, light cinnamin caps with bands of color radiating from the center, no annualis, off white stipe, spaced light brown gills, semi-transparent pellicle (i forget how to spell) they have alot of shroomy traits. ive thought a few looked alot like Pan Sub. but i wont say for sure unless i take a spore print. on a more definate note, theres large, earthy brown Aminita Panterinas comming up around the edge of the cage behind home plate at the ball diamond in clark park on commercial drive. in east vancouver. if you like those things..... havent found any stuntziis yet tho. ill know em when i see em .

Well, what ever you're finding up there in Vancouver, they're not Pan Cyans... they are indigenous to sub tropical and tropical habitat only. They and they're kin, like ps. cubensis and pan trops. and a litany of others can fruit all year long in the warmer, humid climates -Thats why I find myself a bit jealous of our friends down south right about now. Psylo MAN is right in looking for stuntzii this time of year, though it is probably getting a little too warm now... other than that and a couple of Panaeolous sp. there aren't a whole lot of magick mushrooms to choose from up in our neck of the woods. I would also mention the occasional liberty cap, but I don't want my friend MJ to kick my ass.... m

Sorry, Mitch. Maybe I should actually READ the post B4 I comment on it. You think?Warm and sunny down here in Seattle, no mushrooms ( accept for that one patch MJ found a few weeks ago...) otherwise, only typical springs shrooms...

You 2 are also in the fraser valley? We should have a huge fest in the fall, when all our friends begin popping out their heads. I already have a few trips planned including victoria, sunshine coast, surrey...north of abbotsford.....hehe
