are these blue meanies?

These were found this morning along the Gulf Coast growing on some cowdung. They smell like Cubensis, stain blue, but have no purple ring.
Any ideas?

Take a spore print, should be jet black, but those look like them, although the picture wasn't the best quality, no offense.

they certainly appear to be., although i don't have much first hand XP with this species. please post a detailed description.

Attn PWN hunters: If you should come across a bluing Psilocybe matching P. pellicolusa please smell it.
If you detect a scent reminiscent of Anethole (anise) please preserve a specimen or two for study and please PM me.

The mushroom in the first photo is Panaeolus antillarum..

The other mushrooms in the second photo are Panaeolus cyanescens.

What part of the coast did you find?

Ok Sweet. Thanks, guys. These guys used to live in a Central Florida wooded cowpasture. They were growing directly out of some old cow dung. The gills appeared to be light brown in color. The Stem is meaty and bruises easily.
The Caps are white with a tan nipple in the center.
The spore print is nearly black. peace batman
It was about 55 degrees F the morning I found them- uncharecteristically cold for this time of year. It had rained for some time the day before.

heheh Yes this is such a fun time of year to start posting Shroom photos from here in Florida because we subject ourselves to the brutally long summer Shrooming seasons and now as the months roll by the rest of the county is experiencing freezing cold temperatures and no mushrooming while we're in such a nice warmer Shroomy winter climate.

I relish in this facid of being a Florida Shroomer.

The Blue Meanies will continue to grow wild here even under the occassional circumstances that we get a few bitter winter frosts - they are real potent under those conditions as the flesh of the Copelandia cap will have cracked through the entire shroomcap itself. They are like little snowmen playing amoungst the cow dung.
