hey guys, i'm fairly sure these are blue meanies picked in Brisbane, Australia. they are turning blue from pinching about 20mins after contact. black spore print.

Those don't look like Blue Meanies to me. Where is the bruising in the pics!? Plus those are huge and meaty.

If they were blue meanies, then we would see blue where the stems were broken off.

there is a blue tinge to bruising, but it doesn't come on as quickly as i had believed it should. Panaeolus antillarum might be right then, worth eating?

and if you are carrying them in a bag, by the time you get home they will be almost completely blue.

I found a shitload of those once and thought they were copes,I thought by the time I got home they would have bruised fully but they did'nt so I tossed em.Lots of maggots on em too.

Bullshit - you can eat panaeolus antillarum - they wont make your trip, but they wont hurt you either - just taste like shit. But at the end of the day, they aint Panaeolus cyanescens. Im in Aus - if your after help pm me.
