Grifola frondosa clone LC

Here are some pics of growth in a Grifola frondosa LC i made by cloning a wild specimen. I took a 16 guage syringe...loaded it 1/2 way with sterile water....then jammed it into a stembutt of a maitake...took a core sample...then pushed a bit of the tissue into a karo LC. the photos are 2 days apart

updates....one of the LCs was red and seems to be cleaning itself up...the other is such a pretty shade of red i can bear to throw it out..heh.






both these were clones from wild...i deserve whatever i get here LOL

Sweet! What a beautiful shade of red. Did you use 1/2 tsp malt syrup and 1/2 tsp karo?

Im gonna let it grow out awhile..ive kind of gotten attached to the lil feller
