Dual tyvek/polyfil lids on Rye/millet (pics included)

So here's my problem, I inoculated 12 one litre 50/50 rye/millet mix with aprox 2cc's of Australian cubensis, the spore print had been stored for a few months but I allowed the proper time for re-hydration of the spores prior to innoculating.
There is growth but its been 15 days and I am just not happy with the preformance of the mycellium, it's thick but its slow.
Is it possible I went abit overboard with the filtration? here's two pics you can't really see the pollyfill through the tyvek but I cutt open the tyvek filter on one jar and have just the polyfil filtering the air. Anyone have any advise or input to give me?
This is my first time useing a dual filter, it seems to have helped with the contams see'ing as all jars are 100% contam free besides a few kernels with bactilius but it's not spreading, anywho. Please give me some words of advise.

I drill nickle sized holes in my metal lids and cover with double tyvek they do fine . you dont say how large are your holes in the metal lid or if you leave the lid out all together which might dry the grain out too fast ..

We dont have tyvek envelopes in Canada, buy a tyvek suit from Canadian tire or any other hardware store, they're $10 each but make enough filter disc's for 50 or so jars.

The moisture content of your grains is a big factor in colonization speeds but if you think you got that just right, since it is multispore innoc, it could just be a random chance of it growing slow. I just recently innoced 24qt jars. 6 - Orrisa, 6 - Mexicube, 6 - Dixieland, and 6 - Texas. They were all multispore innoc, all from the same vendor. I got the moisture content in all jars to optimum standards. The Orrisa jars took off, as well as the Mexicube. I noticed growth in those in 3-5 days and now they are 100% colonized. The dixieland I didn't notice growth until about 7-10 days after innoc, they are doing fairly well now at this point, and the texas... well they took 10-12 days before noticing anything at all. it's been a little over 2 weeks and the texas look like an "average" multispore innoc would look after about 3-5 days. Also, on all my jars I have 2 holes on the lids, both the same size (1/2 inch holes, smaller than dimes) and I have the lids covered with a double layer of tyvek.
A lot of it will have to do with moisture content and all the procedures taken up until this point. If everything was done to good standards, your problem may just lie in the spores/spore genetics themselves.
