"prizefighter"

the words turned to stone
and the silence reigned supreme
their mouths frozen shut
with thoughts from a dream

an inch or two closer
not to be mistaken
from minds on fire
an ever present meaning
the last of their kind
for all those to see
the last of their actions
all that they could be

keep pushing away
keep pushing away
and make youreself at ease

keep pushing away
keep losing their sight
never to be seen
the last of all free ones go
never thought to ask
what it all can mean
never wanted to know
never wanted to think
keep pushing away
keep pushing away
and make youreself at ease

"pistol"

a stranger on a train
a dream in mind
a space in time
a will to break
fall to youre knees
you kill him, you kill me
a stranger on a train
fire in her eyes and
a gun in her hand
pull the trigger
you kill him, you kill me

a stranger on a train
fire in her eyes
mind so full
nothing inside
pull the trigger
close the door
close youre eyes
close youre mind
pull the trigger
nothing inside

"datura"

a shiny gold blade
it crept behind
through thick and thin
sliced in veins
skin so soft
flesh so smoothe
with life in hand
under the cold yellow moon
warm red blood poured
onto the ground like tears
poured from those eyes
now youre lifeless body
lies limp out in the field
all youre dreams remembered
will never be revealed
no one for miles
left it all behind
lost out on the highway
left out in the fields
out of sight, out of mind
believe in this

"blues for the red sun"

burning through the big blue
a million miles an hour
it isn't fast enough
every second is learned and known
every thought is wrong
but united well stand and
united well fall

burning through the big blue
a million miles an hour
it isn't fast enough
the light begins to fade
the wave begins to fall
the time has come and
it wasn't fast enough
this burning star
is what's become of us all
a 50 million year trip
wasn't long at all
