I did the same thing using a bubbler. what i did was keep the chamber the way it was to hold the PH level up. if you make a hole or something to allow air flow then youll lose alot of moisture. if its not air tight then you should be stight.

what you do is get a larger cup somthing (i use a big flower vase ) put a small layer of perlite in the cup pour h202 water till it's 3/4 full. Then poke some holes in your rubbermade about an 1/2 " to an 1" above your perlite thats for co2 exchange. With this method you never need to fan you can just leave it untill you want to pick. Air pump is very good idea if using a rubbermade. You don't have to put perlite in the cup but that just adds more humidity. I don't have perlit in the vase and mine stays at 95%-100%. I just need to work on my temp. So the airpump pushes the co2 out of the lil holes on the bottom. Have a good day.
