Sterilizing perlite with H202

I understand H202 is used to sterilize the perlite, but i don't know much about it, can i use hydrogen peroxide found off the shelves? I looked at my bottle of it but it said it only containd like .2 or 2% (or something low) pure h202, is this ok, or do i need a pure h202 of like 100%?

I belive h2o2 is used to keep contaminates from starting, but shouldn't hinder growth much once its started. Most resources I've consultated that mention peroxide all recommend mixing it with the water you mist with, so I wouldn't worry about the purity of it. Pure h202 is probably too potent anyway, but I'm not sure.

The standard Hydrogen Peroxide available in stores is 3%. Mix this using 100ml/liter of water (10%) for your perlite, and 50ml/liter of water (5%) for your misting.
