sterilizing perlite

can i juts toss the perlite i want to use for my bedding in the terarium in a pot / pan and put it in the oven or does it have to be in an oven bag?

side note, how long / what temp should spore syringes be stored at?

stick your perlite in your terrarium...lets say 2 inches.,
put an inch of water in there...(half the volume of your perlite)
and a good "glug-glug" of hydrogen peroxide down each wall of your terrarium.

store your syringes in room temperature.

The hydrogen peroxide will sterilize it. You can use bleach as an alternative. It's very important to use one of these. If you dont your terarium might smell like horse shit in a few weeks.
