Psilcybin and nutes?

just wondering what nutes effect the amount of psilcybin thats in a mushroom? i've read that if you used white rice flour it will create mushrooms but...not enough nutes to have enough psilcybin and hence we use BRF. but just wondering what are the specific nutes in brf that helps create that psilcybin in the mushie?

The answer is: Most Organic Matter.

The reason why cubes don't form in ALL organic substances is because some/many organic substances aren't liked by cube mycelium. This can be due to many factors, such as lack of aeration, improper ph, toxins, etc. The reason why cubes wouldn't produce the active alkaloids is because the substance doesn't contain much/any organic matter. For example: white rice has most/all of its organic matter REMOVED.

Potency is not related to substrate composition. A richer substrate will give more, or larger mushrooms, but not more potent ones.
