Sheep field hunting.
    #745203 - 07/14/02 09:44 AM (21 years, 9 months ago)

Im in the UK, and behind my house is a large sheep field.
there have been no sheep there this summer so will this improve the chances for finding any mushrooms?
Or would the sheep shit act as a firtiser or something?

Thanks

Psilocybe semilanceata (the liberty cap) mushroom is common in fields of sheep/. They do grow short there becasue the sheep performed perpetual lawn care service by constanly mowing the grass.

I once too picked libs in a field exactly 200 blocks south of downtown Portland, Oregon in a field inhabited by short sheep.

The mushrooms grow after the first fall rains until the freeze comes in.
