i had the same problem ....my jars would grow ...then stop...the reason was cause i didnt have holes in the tops of my jars..i dont know if this could help you but at least i tried... BTW..try to cold shock them if all else fails

What temperature are they incubating at? You might try rasing the temp (although don't go too much over 85 or 90 degrees if you can help it) if possible. It could be that your substrate has dried out. The holes in the top of the jar seem to make a difference as well (because of the gas exchange perhaps?). If they are taped, take the tape off.--ryan

You could try loosening the lids on your jars, sometimes that helps them finish..they probably ran out of water in the substrate, use more next time..

I feel pretty good being able to give "advice " here for the first time! Anyways, pretty much what all these folks have suggested is correct. Adding my two cents, it's also important to tighten the lid for a second and shake your jars (from MMGG tek)to continue spore distribution throughout the substrate. Then loosen the lid again.
