looking for some feedback on if these things are worth the $$
I live in a dirt road so theres always dust and crops growing all around so allergens etc.
I would STILL be using a glovebox in my room for inoculation but thinking about picking up one of these and letting it run and hopefully reduce the trash floating around in my room and hav less contams.
what do you guys think?

Definitely! I made an attempt at building my own laminar flow hood and the general consensus was that it was a huge air purifier. I still use it as a flow hood and run it in the "clean" room 24/7 Zero contamination so far! I'm not saying go build your own, but I've seen some NICE one's at HD for around $200. Run that baby 24/7 and I bet it will cut down your contamination rate a whole lot. (Of course, still be as sterile as possible!) Here is a link to the post I made regarding the laminar flow hood. Good Luck!http://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/7349699#7349699

I wish you lived near me. I have four of them in a storage shed I'd get rid of cheap. If you keep your house closed up, they'll help scrub the air. If you keep windows and doors open 24/7 like I do, they won't do any good. Be sure to shut them off before doing sterile work. They move a lot of air, so cause drafts.

you should mention that it takes a 234 dollar blower to make it work though I got an airguard and its needs a monster blower to work but when it does it will be a very nice flow hood
