I need to see more fucked up East Asian cinema, I haven't seen much like Oldboy. But god damn that movie left me and my roommate disturbed, confused, and altogether flabberghasted.

I haven't seen Old Boy but I recently saw a movie called Three Extremes that was pretty fucked up/strange. It's three shorter movies in one from three asian directors. I believe one was from South Korea, one from China, and one from Japan; I could be wrong about that though. I'm going to try to track down Old Boy though, thanks for mentioning it.

Old Boy is apparently part of some director's "Revenge" trilogy...three films about people getting revenge for injustices performed upon them.

That is a description for Dumplings, one of the short films in Three Extremes. That DVD should be the one you're looking for. There is a longer version of Dumplings but it's not on the Three Extremes DVD and I have yet to see it. The director of Oldboy did the last short film in 3extremes which I believe is titled Cut.

I saw Aachi & Ssipak, which is a totally messed up Korean animated movie. These little blue things are addicted to these popsicles that are given as rewards to people when they shit - and people shitting is the world's source of energy - but the asses of these blue things are sealed shut and so they can never shit, which makes them want revenge on people... and so they attack people, stealing their "juicy bars" and later some girl gets all these rings put up her ass so that when she shits she gets rewarded thousands of juicy bars.
There's tons of gratuitous violence and messed up sexual stuff in this film.
