There is absolutely nothing in that movie that is actually true about mushrooms, it's pretty stupid. You can see that writers never ever had any psychedelics nor have any clue what a 'new-hippie' chick looks like (except for armpit hair of course).

Well you can expect some of it to be bullshit, its a movie..

Its good so far.. for some reason I picture it kind of like a shroomery gathering so far... Im still on the first part of it, for some reason when I see the dude who had the field guide i think of 40oz :rotfl:

Not as bad as I expected, but it's still a shallow horror movie. But I don't think it's the atrocity that people expected based on the trailer. Nonetheless, I KNOW people are going to get a biased opinion on shrooms after watching the movie.

To me it just seems like they used shrooms as a lure to the woods for the movie, and an add on for the visuals cuz u dont know if it happened or not really. pretty freaky movie... Not what I was expecting.

Exactly, shrooms is just something to get you into the woods and has nothing to do with real SHROOMS. At least the camera didn't shake in this one :smile:

i agree on the more bad publicity for shrooming... you'd think if they made the movie name "shrooms" itd be a bit more about shrooming rather than typical horror/killer/triller. horror movie suck now in my opinion.. its all the same crap. like i said.. *yawn*

well its hard now a day to make a real good horror movie with out the eye on the doller breathing down your back.

i agree, i gave up on horror movies along while back.
