Donovan McNabb says black QBs under more pressure

Philadelphia Eagles QB Donovan McNabb says in an interview scheduled to air on HBO on Tuesday night that
African-American quarterbacks face more pressure and more criticism than their white counterparts, because some still don't want black athletes playing the position.
Did anyone watch the coverage of Monday night’s Eagles loss to Washington?
The announcers couldn’t bring themselves to criticize McNabb. Instead, they felt the need to find excuses for his performance. The announcers blamed the receivers and the offensive line all night long.... Would they have done that for Manning or Grossman? Fuck no.
BTW McNabb there wasn't a more overhyped and overrated QB in the league than Michael Vick......

I hear announcers do that shit for pretty much every good player in the league. LT hasn't been so hot this year, but I'd be damed if they didn't suck his dick every single time he runs of 4 yards and blame the rest on something else.

But no, they wouldn't have done that for Grossman, the fact that you even mentioned Grossman and Peyton in the same sentence, seemingly putting them on equal levels, discredits everything you ever have said or ever will say.

brett farve gets bashed for being old and people say he sucks now, but the announcers usually say he still has a good arm ect ect.
every year, purhaps ever game, they talk about how he's old and when he's gunna retire ect ect.
he is the qb with the most pressure in the league. He only has one good reciever, pretty much zero running game, yet his last game he did really good.
Mcnabb is just a little whinny bitch using the color of his skin for attention.

Okay, that makes more sense then. Of course they aren't going to make excuses for bad QBs, just as they wouldn't make excuses for anyone else. Ogden could get beaten all game, but the announcers would just say it's because whoever was going against him was playing out of his mind, it would NEVER be Ogden's fault.
Just because someone says Peyton was a choker and what not, they still made/make excuses in the game about why he isn't playing well. Watch football for three or four weeks and tell me I'm wrong.
