McNabb to the Skins

ESPN breaking news

The two sides still must finalize language, but McNabb is now headed to Washington. Compensation is not yet known, but it is likely to include Washington's 2010 second-round pick.

Have fun Washington, he's a great QB, but hes super injury prone and cries like a little bitch all the time.

Sucks we couldn't get Asomugha from Oakland cuz we just got rid of Brown =/

I think it will be interesting to see how this plays out.
On one hand, Campbell is still 50/50. McNabb is on the downside of his career.  why throw away a trade or two when we could have got a good qb first round and then worked on the o-line on the subsequent rounds.
On the other hand. Maybe we can utilize McNabb to help strengthen us in the QB dept and just build a good offense around a good, experienced QB and then draft a QB in 2011 or 2012 and have him step into an already strong O. (wait a second, that sounds awfully familiar......)
Or, from way out in left field, maybe Campbell doesn't straight suck and we can utilize McNabb in kinda a mentor usage and build a good O-line and maybe get Campbell to the point of being a franchise QB.  The potential is there, but I'm not sure about the ability to recognize that potential. 
either way, if we're losing lineman every week, and half the team on IR again like last year, we're hopeless.

Nah, it's about time to move on from Campbell.


He's decent at best, but even then he's not the biggest problem on your team.



Santana Moss is the best receiever you guys have.  I know your TE made the pro bowl, but seriously you've had one of the worst recieving corps out of any team, just look immediately in your own division.

Eagles now have a budding pro bowler in Desean jackson, along with Maclin. 

Giants have pro bowler steve smith, had plaxico, and now have hicks and manningham.

And Cowpukes have williams, witman etc.



and the redskin's #2 used to be randle el.

Yeah, I seriously doubt they brought in McNabb to counsel Campbell, lol.  Even though McNabb is nearing the end of his career, he still has to be considered a major upgrade.

I agree with that. However, the Eagles would never have won a superbowl with him, and although he is only one of the many issues the team faces it's a welcomed change for me.
