I have been trying to find some information on casing, but I'm not having sucess. What are the the easy teks for learning how to case? And do casings last a long time? What I mean is do they just keep growing mushrooms ad infiniteum? I'm still looking around on my own for info, too. Thanks for your help.

Hey Randall?
Not a good idea to spread misinformation like that. He might actually do what you say. Did you ever think of that? You know good and well that your casing layer needs to be cooked at 500 degrees for a week to work!!!
Seriously, you could prolly write a 10,000 page book filled with all the info on casings on this site.

Hey man, I was tired as fuck last night, and I clicked on the wrong link under Grow/Find without realizing it. I didn't have three hours to look around, either, so i figured I could just quickly ask a question on where to find the teks and someone that knew could quickly answer back. That's the benefit of having a forum like this. So excuse the fuck out of me.

Yes, but where are we going to get a duck and a rubber hose at this hour?

whoooooa the tension....
Every1 here searches for the info they need. No1 likes to spend 3,4,5 or more hours looking for answers
but sometimes u just gotta do it. And besides, it may answer other questions that u may have in the future. But i think i know where ya coming from and u just want some1 to give u a link
not like u want them to read it to you or show u step by step in the pop up book LOL
U can also go forest floor(www.theforestfloor.org) and click on archives and u will find a section called casing. Real eazy, read it and
understand it. If u read something and wasnt sure about certain aspects of it and then asked about it here
u will find that u will get more of a response. Good luck
Hey bassplayer>>> 500 degrees for one week???? But u didnt give the alternative which is 8 degrees for one year!!

In reply to:
What are the the easy teks for learning how to case?
as a newbie at casing i tryed just coco coil .. ( shit from petsmart called eco-bed , bed-a-breas.. Comes in a brick ) all i did was put the coco coil in a bowl of water ... crumble my cake in zip lock baggie ... spread the crumble cake in the pan ( the "tray" whatever you call it that you plain on the mushroom growing in ) then take the wet cococoil and squeeze it in till there a few dips of water coming down your arm and throw that coco coil on top of the crumble cake .. once you have a lay of coco coil cover it all ( about a 1/4" layer ) throw foil on it and throw it in the incubator ... Search for more info ......

YES ... casing can go for one flush to five flushs ... but if you use the moe howard out door tek you can take your casing after it has flushed itself up and done the road with a little shitjuice and hope your have babies growing out side for you ... there for your casing never dies ..

Hard to tell how Raadt said this, but its true. This hobby takes time. Patience is very critical. Good luck though.

Trying to learn by yourself is even more critical. There's plenty of info about casings, period. If you didn't know how to find that info then it's a different story but i think besides the grow/find section there is a search engine wich can help you alot.
