I guess so. For every million people who don't bite there's got to be at least one sucker, and compared to the price of sending letters, the money that the scammer makes from just one person could finance an entire scamming operation

I havnt received any of these yet 'I hope..' but i would be keen to see one .. ne chance you could scan the letter for us TurntableJunky ? Your located in Southern NSW correct ? Im in SE QLD and havnt heared any stories of anyone trying to be had but like i sorta insinuated before maybe they have and just don't know it.

If you cant scan it cause it was thrown away or watever can you give us a bit more info about the letter ? company name ? specific idiocies ? etc..

Scams are a huge business. I read an article in consumer reports about a few of the more succesfull ones. Shit, I would fall for a few.

I know two girls who were gullible enough to fall for them...

One of them I stopped before it was too late, the second one lost almost 500 bucks...

I saw a thing on Dateline about the Nigerian money making schemes. They actually went to Nigeria and busted people on the internet at some internet cafe sending out the e-mails. Real intense.

The best part was there were rappers in Nigeria rapping about how they take American's money in these schemes and how the people are stupid. It was fucking hilarious.
