It sounds like it's just bruising. Especially if it doesn't seem to be growing. You should be fine. Just do what Moe says, and be patient. If you keep checking your setup all the time, you're going to increase your chances of contamination. Good luck.

Im not sure what it is. When i birthed my cakes small pieces of mycelium that had grown into the ramseys seal were experimented with. I took a peice of mycelium and squeezed it inbetween my fingers as hard as i could, no bruising. My friend has dropped, hit, smashed cakes and they never bruised. Iv never seen a cake bruise in pics or in life....does anyone have a pic of bruising?
