You should be able to get hydrogen peroxide at any grocery store or pharmacy section.. its used sometimes for cleaning wounds. A very regular item, nothing anyone will ask about.

Yep, that's the stuff. You are getting the 3% peroxcide solution...very common. Not to be confused with the 51% solution that is watched closely since it can be used to make blasting caps.

what is the volume 40 peroxide i get for bleaching my hair? is it not 40% peroxide? I know this isn't a cult. question, but i was wondering...

It's probably 40% hydrogen peroxide solution. Since it's used to bleach the color out of your hair I'll bet that's a good guess.....

40% solution would bleach your head, and your hair would drop, so it is definitaly not 40% solution

Hmm, 40% does sound strong, but according to my references...the peroxide used to bleach hair is about 40% peroxide solution.

It has other things in it besides peroxide, other than water i mean like pharamacy peroxide, but anyways i was just wondering what the volume 40 meant...
