Any psilocybe will grow well on rye. Some species are dung lovers, or wood lovers, it all depends. I have had great sucess with organic rye grain kernels. To prepare it you mix proper quanities or rye grain, distilled water & oyster shell (calcium carbonate). You then pressure cook to sterilize for 45min to an hour.
