First time straw question...

My friend is trying straw. The mycelium has run over the straw and he is about to case it. After casing should he expose to light, fanning etc... Or should he keep it in the dark with elevated CO2 levels for the mycelium to penetrate the casing layer?

It depends on the strain. For most Cubies.........After casing, cover with foil poke some holes in it and return to incubator until mycellium breaks through. Have patients..."good things come to those who wait."
