simple straw question

i got some hay at a pet store and asked if they had any without the fluffy part.. you know, the part that's at the end of the hay that's sticking out of a farmer's mouth. they told me not to worry that it's not dangerous for my rabbit.... grr.... well, should i leave these in or pick them out?

Hay is straw without the seeds. So, yes, remvove the "fluffy part" (seeds), and you'l have straw. Hay is a bit too nutricious, and therefore contaminate prone.
