Fuck! I might get my driver's license taken away from me

I got popped doing 85 mph in a 55 mph zone on the Pennsylvania turnpike.  They might want to take my license away for a month or so.

If they take it away it won't be for several months. Still sucks though.

I should have tried to bribe the cop. 55mph speed limit on a highway is fucking ridiculous.

The Pennsylvania turnpike is the worst road in America. You have to pay to drive on it, the condition of it is absolutely horrible because of age and construction projects, and there is a cop car setting up a speed trap every 1,000 feet.

Yeah, that's shitty. You probably will lose it for a while. I got popped for 92 in a 65 several years ago. Lost my license for 60 days I think.

thats bullshit. noone does 55 on the turnpike. Gotta love our PA cops... i got a 107 dollar fine for not coming to a complete stop at a stop sign :rolleyes:

That fukken rots dude!!! Thats going to be a couple of points also Randall,  I dint know about the Laws in Pa., but when I lived in  N.J., My buddy was clocked going 125 in a 75 zone on NJ Turnpike, 50 over!!!  Trooper arrested him on the spot for driving with the intention to cause grievous bodily Injury,speeding,displaying some crap, Reckless endangerment!!!  Long story Short,  He hired a real good, and by good I mean fucking expensive as all get out, Lawyer and Got off!!!!! Innocent on all charges.  His argument was that he was on his way to the hospital to see his dying Grandma , who was expected to go at any minute!!!!  And she did, he didn't get a chance to see her.:(  My advice get a  Good lawyer and find a dying Grandma somewheres and make her yours!!!:grin:

shit, I always drive 85 on the PA turnpike. Its funny, if you ever drive 81N as soon as you cross over the NY border you really realize how shitty PA roads are.

I didn't know we took license away for excessive speed. I always thought it was if you had too many points, and you had the option of taking a points test first.

Also, on 476 there are tons of Cops, and an unmarked blue crown vic that always seem to hang out around the Pocono Exit, just an FYI.

Which turnpike did you get your ticket on out of courosity?

It was near Harrisburg.

I just found out that I'm not going to get it taken away...but I am getting 5 points on my record. Once you get more than six they make you take a class or something.

And yeah, PA roads suck so hard.

My friend lost his for a year yesterday, along with a year probation. And a hefty fine, for street racing. You should've used your new nose to help get you out of it some how.

I got nailed for 85 on an off ramp and all they did was give me a ticket. It didn't even take points off my license. :smile:
