Things that make you say "What the fuck!?!"

This morning I am fueling my backhoe at the commercial fueling station before work.  It is about 5:30 Saturday morning and the fueling station is in a commercial area so its real quiet.  Nothing but warehouses and the like in the area, and being so early on a weekend there was no one around.

Suddenly, a peacock came walking past me!! :eek:  I just stood there with my mouth hanging open thinking "What the fuck is a peacok doing here!?  This is the fucking desert!  There isn't a zoo anywhere nearby, or even any homes where somone may have pet peacocks!  So why the fuck am I watching this peacok stroll nonchalantly down a Las Vegas street?!"  I still can't figure this one out... :confused:

You ever have something totally weird happen like this and you just can't figure out why?

Yeah, i do have weird stuff happen but can't think of one right now- oh wait, this was weird in a different way- my friend was just over here and we were talking and all of a sudden she gets all pissed and storms out. I must have said something rude but can't think of quite what.  :confused:

Once I was driving to my friends' house and a mule that was taller than my car ran across the road in front of me. I didn't know they got that big, and I didn't know there was a farm near his house. Noone believes me except my friend who was riding with me.

Heh. Had another weird one yesterday and it reminded me of this thread I made 3+ years ago. So I thought I'd revive this one instead of start a new one.

So I'm driving up I-15 in Northern San Diego county yesterday. All of a sudden I realize there is an ostrich running along side the freeway! It was outside the fence, but running right along next to the freeway. Pretty damn fast to! It wasn't keeping up with traffic or anything, but I bet it was clipping along at 35 or so. I know people raise them around here so its not that odd that one would escape, but its just not the kind of thing you expect to see. Kinda takes you by surprise and makes the whole world seem somewhat surreal for a few moments.
