Ultrasonic, cool spray, and foggers...

I've seen that some people prefer the cool misters, and others prefer the ultrasonics. Which do you like, and why?

From my experience with ultrasonics, the transducer tends to burn out within a year, thus rendering the humidifier useless. The coolmist has just a motor that lasts forever.

Perlite works great, but its so friggin messy - cool mist (KAZ) is the way to go, a little finicky to set up at first, though.

i use perlite too-man i hate it whenn it sticks to my shit too-

and gets in the carpet

but i think all those ultra sonics and foggers, are a complete waste of cash,when perlite is 3 bucks for 8 qts at wally's

i also think it is overkill-i have seen so many pics posted about people who cant get their "automatic" set up to work properly-with perlite it will raise the humidity,with no worries at all
