how does this look? I'm scred to death that i wasted another seedling.

I cannot see the vascular ring, you know you have to match them right?
It´s also good to use a plastic baggie on it for the first days/week so it won´t shrink so bad.

i thought you are supposed to overlap the circles. like you put the v ring in the center of the scion like this.

ive never tried grafting such a young seedling myself, i usually wait until they are at least a month old...
however ive seen many cases where grafting seedlings which are a matter of days old has been very successful :thumbup:

anyway im not so sure that the one above is good or not... only time will tell...

perhaps you should try using slightly larger/older seedlings until you are confident in your grafting skills.
if you wait until they are a bit bigger you can just take the top of the seedling and leave the root and the lower part of the scion in the soil, it will regenerate so long as you leave an aerole or two on the lower half... two for the price of one :wink:

looks like it may be touching the ring.  i remember doing a 2 day old seedling and not noticing which was the root and which was the opt.  i grafted the root part and it never took.  i cant see the pic very well, just wondering if you had maybe shared my blonde moment :laugh:  i wait at least a week now, just so i know which way is up.  -i dont need glasses- :wink:

haha nice, im sure it isnt the root, i used a magnifying glass :P. im going to wait 5 days and take it out of the terarium and hope it goes ok. does this sound wise? or should i wait longer.
