Student Loans

Does anyone have any expierence with this that they could share? I'm looking to go to college full time, five classes a day, instead of working part time and taking 2 or 3 classes. It will save me a s*** load of time if I can take about 30k-40k$ and use that money to support me until i'm done completely with school and not have to work.

Any reccomendations?

Borrow as little as possible.

$30-40k is a huge amount of debt to contend with.  I borrowed less than 8k, and I won't be debt free for three more years.  My payments are manageable, but not insignificant by any means.

Think about it.  Say you borrow $36k. 

Repayment will be five hundred a month for six years, if your interest rate is zero(!), and it definitely won't be.  I don't know anybody just out of school that can budget an extra 500 bucks a month for that.

Don't waste a dollar of your loan money on shit like fast food or booze. 

I would take a year off and work 2 jobs and save, save, save.  Spending a year doing that may knock years off your repayment term.

And finally, make sure that whatever you take in school will help you get a well-paying job.  You're gonna need it.
