I dropped my Motorcycle on Tuesday night.

I was playing poker and having some drinks at Bennigans. I felt a little cocky and wanted to ride my bike a little bit before the next game started. As I was leaving the parking lot, I reved up the engine a little too much and popped the clutch. I took off pretty fast, went like 15 yards, lost control, and fell off. I fucked up my arm pretty bad, I thought it was broken, but I got it checked out and it's just sprained really bad. The bike has two dents in the fuel tank, the clutch is all scratched up, and the left rear turn signal broke off.

Hopefully I (and my Sportster) heal up soon.
I've only had her for 6 weeks. =*(

thats what scares me about getting a bike. I know my tendencies to drink and drive. I am sure that i will stick myself in that situation.

yeah, I'm lucky not to have been hurt really bad.

from now on 2 drink limit when I'm riding my bike.

Aw I feel ya man I did the same thing but my arm was ok wrote the bike off tho. It was a three week old 2002 ninja 250 with the break in the oil window clutch was bent backwards and back end totally smashed.

Hope you arm is ok iv been in 5 crashed now and got lucky to walk away from them all.

i'm getting an estimate on the damages this weekend. my deductible is like $1,000. I bought the bike on June 1st...and a few weeks after buying the bike I got a letter in the mail from the insurance company saying I needed to have my motorcycle license by July 1st. Well...I still don't have the license. So I'm worried they won't cover the damages (if they won't I'll probably end up with a dented fuel tank for awhile...that shit is expensive). When I bought the insurance I told them I didn't have a motorcycle endorsement on my license...and they never said anything. I'm gonna read my policy right now and if it says nothing I'm just gonna say I never got that letter (they should have sent it certified mail).

I wasn't trying to impress anyone. I wanted to get the RPMs up so I could accelerate off the start a lot faster.
