i need to be rich, someone help
    #7116981 -

ever since i was young i just assumed i was going to be fantastically rich.

i still assume that but its taking so god damn long.

anyone have any ideas for me?

if someone wants to offer me an awesome job i will take it as long as it pays 30+ an hour.

i really feel as though my time is worth about that much, so i can't save money because most work is unbearable to me. right now i have to work for an hour to afford a meal at mcdonalds... WTF?

lol!! issac newton once said "for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction" this is true.. in order to be rich you will first need to displace that much worth of somthing.... for instance, you sell drugs and move goods.. someone pays you to get high. thier wallet gets smaller, and yours gets fatter... you just need to be smarter than the rest!! btw your time is only worth what someone will pay you for it... if you THINK its worth that much you cant say that it actually is until you have been paid that....

Yeah, don't let 'em get you down. That "rude awakening" usually takes the form of an attitude about money or life in general that is certainly not conducive to attracting wealth into your life.

And I'm not talking about some new age crap. I'm talking about harboring the right attitudes that don't set up obstacles in your life. For instance, lots of hippies say stuff like, I don't really care about money, I don't need it to be happy, I don't want to have a lot of money, it'll make you evil, crap like that. This is foolish because money is only a tool. Having this resource at your disposal allows you to accomplish many things more easily.

Or lots of people believe that if you aren't slaving your ass off for years on end to make your money, but make it quickly through some other means, then you must be exploiting someone somewhere. This is another bullshit, dogmatic limitation.

Trading your time for money is the worst way to make money. But if you don't want to do it, you have to be creative. I am always reminded of just how much abundance there is in this world, the US in particular, there's no reason for a limit to how much of it you can take advantage of. The idea of limited resources and thus limited wealth is another self defeating dogma. While there are certain laws of physical matter to consider, as far as your experience on this planet goes, resources are only limited as long as your ability to conceive of new ideas and ways of doing things is limited.

Try to make the most of the experience you already have.

As a recent college graduate, I thought my degree would be my greatest asset. Oddly enough, my management experience from my summer job landed me a higher paying job than many of my friends were able to get with their degrees alone. And I almost considered not emphasizing my management experience on my resume.

As a side note, a few of my friends are making $100k+ a year at jobs straight out of college: it's called investment banking, and if you work hard in college, apply very broadly, (and don't care too much about which firm you work for) you can land an ibanking job paying that much with little to no experience.

Being rich is not really what you want anyways. You have a great resource right in front of your face right now to help you find out what in life it is that will truly satisfy you. Please just go eat some more fucking mushrooms until you stop thinking you need to have more of anything than anybody else. Most people think their time is worth more than they are getting paid right now. The answer is not the pay, it is that you hate your job truly and deeply no matter the pay and you will never be happy until that changes. Go do something you love and see how much the money matters then.

First step: Stop eating at overpriced McDonalds.

Most people are financially independent not from making excessive money, but saving excessive money. Dont neglect that aspect when amassing a personal fortune.

man listen your in for a harsh eye opener if you continue to think like that dealing with your life. nothing is free on this earth you have to work for everything. dont just expect money to come to your ass when your not taking action. and if you expect to be RICH, then you have to work hard to live nice and fancy and blah blah. YOU GET NOTHING IN THIS WORLD WITHOUT STRUGGLE AND HARDWORK, at least anything that has any true value. i suggest you challenge your beliefs, and your belief system my friend, you ever heard of wealth consciousness? thats where being rich really is, look it up. being wealthy is a state of mind, its how you think. it is not always about the materialistic stuff man....think about that

Or one way to be rich right away, right now... Is just realize that half the world lives off of two dollars a day. Even at the 'low' wage of 'one McDonalds meal per hour' you are still in the very top percent of wealth and standard of living compared to human history.

Change your perspective and instantaneously become wealthy. Then you can spend the rest of your life reveling in it.
