Mimosa , I've got a few questions , can someone help me????
    #7099372 -

Ok , we have these trees , they're called mimosa trees but I'm not shure if they're Mimosa hostilis.
Can someone post a few pics of the branches and leaves and maybe some closeups of mimosa tree bark?
Also what is this tree's root's skin (or root's bark) used for?
And how is it used , smoked , eaten or what???
Thanks.

there are tons of mimosa sp. there are even totally different *families* with trees given the common name "mimosa". there there are teh thousands of plants that look kind of similar to the various "mimosa" types.

Around here what we call mimosas are actually persian silk trees. Search for persian silk trees and see if that's what you've found.

The persian silk tree's leaves and foiliage resemble what I've found.
So I guess that's what it is.
Thanks guys.
