Excuses?

Sorry if this is the wrong forum, it was a coin toss "literally" Ok so ive been having a hard time finding syringes locally "Walgreen's doesn't appreciate me" and doesn't even have the sizes i was looking for. Last night my brother just randomly tells me i can get the larger syringes and larger needles at the local "cal ranch store" I go in there not expecting to have to explain myself to them.. i was wrong. So now the general manager there thinks im an organic chemistry student working on a project that involves isolating the genes of a rare albino mutation of a local moss found up in the hills and that i need the syringes for sterile isolation/gene manipulation... After coming up with that off the top of my head i ended up buying almost every needle size/length that they had. and i was wondering, what type of excuses for similar events have you guys/gals used?
Also I have some multispore syringes coming in the mail, would it be a good idea to squirt some on some agar and make a liquid culture from the growth on that, or just make a liquid culture straight from the spores, or grow them out with the normal pftek and clone one of the shrooms and go from there.

Lol when i go to my local horse store they never ask questions and if they did i would tell em it's none of there fucking business"cause it really isnt".They are there to sell something not to ask questions.One time i was at a garden store getting soil and because i have long hair i was accused of growing weed i yelled at the store manager for 30 mins and got my soil for freeeeee yayyyyy lol.fukin nosey people gatta hate em.

I've never done anything except cakes... as for the excuses... I just told the clerk that my cousin has diabetes and needs the syringe for insulin.

I would clone a mushroom and isolate the genome. Excuse spelling. This will ensure the best product. You can buy bulk syringes online depending on your willingness to purchase stuff online. Squirting on agar seems like it could get contaminated really easily with a laminer flow hood (HEPA system). Grow the shrooms in small quantity and go from there.

never go to a nursery with long hair, asking if they have hydroponics systems or kits for sale. They wont be too friendly.

The only problem is, people with diabetes at most generally use like 1 cc syringes with a 22 gauge needle.. a little too small for what i wanted and the sign in cal ranch said it was for horse husbandry only "but they let me slide" and of course id'd me and i think wrote down my drivers license number, i hope they dont report it because they wrote down my drivers license number last time i was there buying iodine.

I saw a few places selling them in bulk online, the only problem is i like my packages to be small because the people i live with always ask a billion questions when ever i get a package in the mail. I guess ill take your advice and clone a fruit. thanks for the advice.

whoa dude they made you write down your dl number? hell no,no way would i do that for anything other than bier. the point is what business is it of theirs to ask questions i would just blow em off just say my family has horses and if they push tell em"you know what i don't like to be interrogated laterrrrsss" and they will drop it right there and then and will bag up your stuff since they do want your business.

I doubt they will report it, drug stores are more willing to report you, and a lot of the stuff they will sell you, they are required to report to the federal government. I bought their entire stock of 14, 16, and 18 gauge needles all 3/4 inch long and 1 1/2 inch long so they shouldnt be complaining.

If one needs to lie, one knows that he/she is doing something wrong. Right ?

But what is wrong with growing mushrooms? Nothing !

So the next time you buy your syringes, and your long needles, simply say: I grow mushrooms.... and: I need the stuff to inoculate the substrate with the spore solution. Somehow they feel that you are telling the truth and they like you instantly. They never want to know what kind of shrooms you grow.

Don't you think it is more then enough, if the President needs to lie ?

weird i have bought 10 syringes with 20-30 needles and never ever had to put down any information of my self.I understand about the drug store doing it though but you shouldnt get needles there since they usualy dont have what you need.and iwouldnt tell em anything about mushrooms since again it's none of there business.

I'm not too worried about it, i think its just the policy to write down drivers license info when selling anything to anyone over 18, Now that i think about it they have done it to me three times, today "with the syringes" and also when i bought smokeless black powder, and when i bought iodine "which has many of usefull uses :-)"

My Aunt works in the only drug store for an hour so I have to get syringes there all the time. I just tell them I sell ink Jet Refill kits on Ebay and get alot of orders. Never had a question asked. Telling the truth would be preferable in a utopian society but with Crime-Stoppers (1-800-RATFUCK) and the war on drugs sometimes it's better to lie.
