I have that kind of pressure cooker too but mines a five quart and it can hold on 4 half pint jelly jars. You may be able to fit 4 quart jars in your's, but I don't think there's anyway it will hold all 12. Hope this helps.

If this 12 quart cooker will hold quart size jars it will hold 7. The diameter of pressure cooker's is about the same for the most part it's the height that varies. I need to know if it's tall enough. Thanks for the post though.

Get a Mirro dude, they're the highest quality. You don't wanna buy one and have it break down. These things are under a lot of pressure all the time, it pays to invest in a nice one.
