But keeping on topic, if you find scars to be beautiful why would you want to tattoo over it? or are you trying to draw attention to the scar? i'm confused.

I should of clarified, I didn't want to just make an off topic reply about someone, whom i never met, having the same birthday as my brother so I directed a response to the original poster.

As far as scars go, I like mine just the way they are too, and they lend themselves to great stories too.

Im not necessarily trying to hide the two scars, if I get what I want half of both scars will be visible. They just happen to be where I want to get the tattoo and I didnt know if the scar material will make the tattoo look bad. Theres no feeling around the scar areas either.

those don't look too terribly bad. i don't think it would be much of a problem at all to tattoo over that. you probably wouldn't even be able to tell.
