Got beaten up

Walking along with some friends, was absolutely smashed after drinking beer and spirits all night.

Some chump walks by with a crew of people and says something to me "who the fuck are you", I return with the exact statement and he gets in my face gibbering shit.

Tried to calm him down and said "Its alright for you to say it to me, is it?" then he just makes up some shit that I pushed him too. To justify it to himself and his friends and starts punching me in the face.

Bear in mind it was in a very dark place we were walking and I was too drunk to defend myself. I managed to block a couple of hits and hit him once but he got about 5 jabs in on my face.

His friends were all egging him on and winding him up and surrounding me, mine all sat there like a bunch of chickens and didn't do shit to help me. That really pissed me off, I always stick up for my friends and have defended many different friends and stopped em getting their asses kicked when theres no good reason for them being attacked.

Anyway, managed to retain some dignity and just walked away after he'd had his fill of jabbing me.

Now I got a pretty battered face, got a huge lip!

Just needed to vent that shit man, it really pisses me off - people starting shit for no reason.

I might hunt this fucker down and his mate that was egging him on. When I'm sober they will get a royal ass whooping.

The only person to place blame is himself for letting it get to that point and not having the foresight to change it, not an outside element.

I didn't miss the point. I just don't agree that talking back to someone in a negative manner to someone justifies them beating you.
