The lemon trick with shrooms - ?

Citric acid in a shot with ground shrooms is a whopper.
Can you take this to another level by adding citris to the shrooms as they grow somehow to make them grow in a way that yields shrooms that are more potent but don't last as long?

Just curious. It's likely the answer is "No, the acid will kill the cake". But I thought I'd ask.

I think the lemon trick is most often for tea puropses only. The acidicy in the lemon will not help the shrooms grow. Ive heard of things like Lemon Juice in Mescaline tea and in Hella Bella tea. I'm sure it may taste good with shrooms, but not sure if theres any benifits potency wise.

I heard it's the acid in the lemon juice. I have heard and read similar accounts where people have taken shrooms with an acidic beverage such as cranberry juice or orange juice. Some people think it's the vitamin c. I think it is more likely the acid that releases the active ingredients faster and more effectively than your stomach acids alone.

I will have to try it very soon.

I usually chase my mushrooms (dry or tea) with cranberry juice. Since I do it almost every time, I can't give a very good impression of how it boosts the potency... but I can tell you that I usually trip pretty damn hard on shrooms.

I'll have to try the lemon thing sooner or later, sounds like a possibility.
