Sucks don't it? I HAVE to carry around a wallet that includes a check book now so I don't bounce checks anymore. Ill be god damned if I ever pay another overdraft fee. Haven't payed one since I started aggressively balancing the books.

yeah mine was fucked up.. i charged 20.00$ in gas and it didnt show up for like 5 days on my account, then all of a sudden it popped up on the 30th and made me go -5.45$ and they raped the shit out of me.

and since ive had like 120$ in fees reversed in the past year, he wouldnt reverse this one.

i think it's because I'm white.

Fucking bullshit isn't it, I had an overdraft for 10 bucks cost me over 300 one time, I payed it but they still closed my account.

You've had better luck then me, Ive never been able to get a charge reversed, no matter how much Ive bitched, I think its because I'm male and single. Fucking moneychangers, once I'm president they'll all be lined up and shot :smile:

EDIT: anymore I know which businesses take days to post the charge and I avoid them at all costs.

do you bank with Chase? this is the first problem i have ever had with them

National City on the other hand, completely sucks ass.. if it wasnt for my direct deposit, i would have closed my chase account today and went to Huntington.

Ive never banked with chase, theyre not real big in my area. Ive had accounts closed because of overdraft fees by national city, farmers bank, union federal and one more I cant remember (ive been drinking all night). Ive been banking with key for 5 yrs now and havent had an overdraft problem, guess I got a little older and tired of throwing money away. Thank god for online banking, it makes it so much easier to balance the books.

EDIT: Id bank with my jobs credit union but their only branches are in the city which is about 10 miles away from my house.

what happens when u have a bunch of overdraft fees with a bank? and dont pay them?

they just close ur account? or do they fuck up ur credit a bunch too?

They close your account and sick a collection agency on you. Yeah, itll fuck up your credit too. Ive been rebuilding mine now for about 5 yrs and Im just now a little bit above average on the credit score, ~700.

Its not like the collection agency will do much to you other then make annoying calls (depending on the amount owed I guess with which an overdraft fee wont be enough for them to aggressively pursue you) but they will report it to the big three.
