 stupid idea...brown rice water?

I had an idea of soaking Brown Rice in a pot full of sterile water for a few days until the water gets murky(cloudy) from the rice and then use the "Rice water" in substitute for regular water when making cakes?
Does anyone think this will give the cakes a little more "good stuff" or will it not make a difference?

I doubt it would make much of a different. Leaving BRF-water to stand for a day or two might open up a door to contaminates.

lmfao...dont do that...just do the gun to the side of your head thing!!
i always heard that using nutrients in the water you use for jars is helpful...
You can do this...take some straw or hay or old grass clippings and soak them for a few mins...the water will be clouded with nutrients now...or just get some nice green water from a ditch and try it....ive heard others say positive things about this....maybe just pc for a little longer...imo...youll be ok
Also...do this....do a few jars with regular water and compare it with nutrient water cakes...then report back to me asap.

I posted before about this sludge that is made after years of old grass clippings have been sitting in my back yard ... would this be good to be "nutrient water" from?

i would put some in a pot and boil the shit out of it for 15 mins then use the water that left as my source water....i think itll work great....you should try it.....hooked on phonics works for me!!!!

I think I might try and do that... I'll probably do it with 1 jar, label it and keep my eye on it. I'll post my results when the times comes...
This "grass sludge" stinks like royal shit though, it would probably stink up the whole house, especially if i do it at my friend's little-ass apartment. oh well, i'll only do a little.
i think im gonna goto bed now, g'night.
*edit* oh yeah, i'm getting a spore print from FSRCanada and I'm going to sprinkle some spores directly on the "grass sludge" in a feeble attempt to see if any will actually grow....

ya...dont experiment or anything...stupid idea....
Everything thats known about growing shrooms has already been discovered so dont bother mycelium.
i can remember reading where people have done this and it works fine...it increases yields.
Now im not talking about doing it with brf...ive never heard about that...but as far as using creek water or other nutrient enriched water I hear it works and many recommend it.
I have never tried it though so flame away dude.
many people say to save and use the excess water from pasteurization of straw and dung and use that for cakes...so...whatever...
i think even PF says something positive about it on their site...i could be wrong...i will check later
